TERMS AND CONDITIONS classes, Courses, Socials, private lessons, Holidays & Events.

In order to avoid disappointment and/or misunderstandings, please call us on 01462673895 to discuss any special needs that you may have. This will enable us to advise on the suitability of our venues, facilities and teaching requirements to the extent to which any reasonable adaptations can be made. To assist us it would be helpful to understand:
# Any special mobility or dietary requirements
# Storage of medication needs
# Whether any member of the party needs to be accompanied by an assistance dog
# Any changes in lessons or one to one required (not available in our group classes)
# To help us understand your exact needs and requirements

Our rates are true and time of booking
We reserve the right to increase this price by the amount of any increase due to reasons beyond our control and you will be notified of any increase via the communication of your choice normally email.

The client agrees to pay all of the company's charges on the due dates, failing which interest will be charged on a daily basis at the base rate charged by the company's bankers plus 2% per annum.
Any function for which advance payment is due overdue by 28 days may be cancelled by the company and the cancellation fee as below will become payable
If the client/customer has any queries upon any part of an invoice, the client/customer will pay the undisputed balance of the sum owing on the date and the remainder on resolution of the query.
The Company reserves the right to withhold or withdraw credit facilities at any time without notice.

Please note:
# Wheelchairs are not available at hotels we use and advance booking of guests' own wheelchairs or mobility scooters is required as storage facilities if any are limited.
# You must make us aware of any special arrangements/needs and agreed at the time of booking our classes, courses, socials, holidays and any other functions we may run and confirmed in writing by us prior to arrival at any of our events.
# Wherever possible the hotels we use will endeavour to accommodate any special requirements such as dietary needs or guests' mobility restrictions. However, we are unable to guarantee that these requests can be met and therefore ask that you help us by prioritising any needs of members of your party so we can check with the hotel for a full Accessibility Statement
# Footsteps School of dancing and Hotels that we use are NOT equipped or staffed to provide special medical attention. If any member of your party requires such attention, they should seek medical advice prior to booking on the suitability of the holiday, classes, course, socials or other events for them.

The taking of Pictures & Videos by Footsteps or members of the public on their behalf
You give permission for Footsteps School of Dancing to take pictures & videos to be used for promotional reasons and to be put on our website or social media pages unless you let us know in writing you are not happy for this to take place.

Your safety is our concern. If any member of your party is unable to hear a fire alarm then please advise us at the time you make the booking so that guests can be entered on our register.
Also if any member of the party cannot ascend or descend stairs in the event of an emergency evacuation, please also advise us so that we can request an 'Evacuate friendly' room. Wheelchair users cannot be accommodated above certain floor levels so the availability of a suitable room must be ascertained at the time of booking as there is limited availability of these rooms if at all. You must have in writing confirmation from us that hotels we use can accommodate prior to your booking as we may not be able to change your room status later.

Most of the hotels we use cater for dietary needs but it is your responsibility to check with us prior to booking. Should anyone in your party have any other dietary requirements, please let us know when you book your holiday/function so we can endeavour to assist with any special agreements. As a general rule gluten-free bread should be brought to the resort by the guest requiring it.

If any member of your party has or has just had an infection or contagious medical condition we reserve the right to:
# Refuse to accept your booking
# Cancel your holiday; class, course, social or the event you have booked on
# Ask any member of your party to be confined to their room or not attend but if away must leave the function, hotel or resort immediately, should we, at our reasonable discretion, consider it necessary to protect the health of other guests, staff or the general public.

You should inform us immediately should any such condition develop in any member of your party within 1 week of the function/holiday on your arrival date or during your holiday or any of our functions that may lead to an outbreak of infection.

We reserve the right to terminate a holiday, class, course, social or any other event that you are attending without compensation, where we believe that the behaviour of any of the persons named on the relevant booking or their guests might impair the enjoyment, comfort, health or safety of others guest, our staff f or general public. Guests must not bring to, or use at, the hotel or any of our functions any firearm, fireworks, illegal substances, offensive weapons or hazardous chemical or any similar item. We have the right to refuse sign up or any entry for future events due to the above or not abiding by these terms and conditions.

Control of Noise
In order to comply with Local Authority Licensing conditions it should be noted that all Ballroom/hall/function room windows and doors are required to be closed after 9 pm and noise kept at such a level that there is no perceptible noise outside the hotel.

All facilities described at the hotels we book are subject to availability. It is possible that accommodation, services or facilities may need to be adjusted or withdrawn temporarily due to maintenance, legal requirements, factors beyond our control, operational needs of other guests, and/or good practice. Any entertainment programme advertised in the brochure is also subject to change due to reasons beyond our control without prior notice. We reserve the right to make such alterations without prior notice, and are unable to accept any liability arising from such changes. If material changes occur in advance of your arrival, we will endeavour to advise you of changes. If there are any alterations taking place during your stay we will aim to ensure that any disruption is minimised by asking the hotel in question to reschedule works to be carried out during the daytime, as far as possible.
Entertainment is provided every evening by Footsteps School of Dancing on the nights agreed prior to arrival at the hotel, but please note that it may not be in the hotel in which you are booked. The entertainment programme advertised may be subject to change for reasons beyond our control without prior notice, and we are unable to accept any liability arising from such changes

Liability Hotel
The Hotel we be liable to the client and/persons attending the function for injury to persons or loss or damage to the property only where and to the extent that it has been negligent but otherwise will be under no liability to them whatsoever
The client/persons shall be liable for any loss or damage to the hotels property including walls, light fittings and equipment including items hired for their use or injury to any persons including the hotels staff and shall indemnify the hotel and Footsteps School of Dancing/Mr & Mrs N price against any loss or liability (other than the hotels liability in 1) the above arising from the function
2) The client/person is advised to consider arranging insurance for the function covering public liability and loss or damage to property and that of persons attending the function

General (Hotel)
The hotel will take all reasonable steps to fulfil the reservations to the best of its ability and in accordance with the details provided. However it reserves the right to provide alternative services of at least equivalent standard at no extra cost to the client

The client shall not be entitled to assign the booking to any third party nor utilise the hotels facilities other than for the purpose in the contract without the hotels prior written approval
No variation of these conditions shall be effective unless in writing and signed on behalf of the hotel and Footsteps School of Dancing

Whilst the hotel/Footsteps School of dancing has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that information contained in its brochures/schedule tariffs, leaflets and advertisements is accurate it reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw ay service, facility or amenity without notice if necessary.
This agreement shall be subject to English Law.

In the event of a Hotel/function being cancelled of a confirmed group or individuals on a group we have the right to claim reimbursement for any resulting loss. This does not mean that Footsteps School of Dancing/ Mr & Mrs Price is responsible for any loss to any individual as it is out of their control. Footsteps School of Dancing will do everything possible to minimise this risk but again it is down to the individual to obtain the relevant insurance. If the individual cancels a booking for a function or holiday the cancellation fees below will take president:

Special Note:- On receipt of any non-refundable deposit you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Cancellation of by the client/customer: Holiday
Cancellations under 28 days of arrival 100% of holiday cost of remaining allocation
Cancellations between 1 and 3 months of arrival 60% of holiday cost of remaining allocation
Cancellations between 3 and 6 months of arrival 40% of the holiday cost of remaining allocation
Cancellation more than 6 months deposit and any further prepayments forfeited

Cancellations of group bookings or individuals should be notified in writing, and an acknowledgment will be sent to you. This should be retained for your records.

Cancellation by the Hotel/Footsteps School of Dancing
The above parties may cancel your booking if
The hotel or any part of it is closed due to circumstances outside its control
If the client/customer becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership/bankruptcy
If the client/customer is more than 28 days in arrears with any payments to the company
To avoid a breach of these conditions
If it might prejudice the reputation of or cause damage to the hotel/Footsteps School of Dancing. In such event the company will refund any advance payment made but will have no further liability to the client/customer

Cancellation of any classes, courses or socials
If you cancel within 1 week prior to the event there will be no refund

We strongly recommend that you to take out the relevant insurance to cover our classes, courses, socials, holidays and any other event we hold that you attend. All dancers that take lessons do so at their own risk and Footsteps School of Dancing cannot be held responsible especially if we have not been notified in writing of any underlying conditions.

Coach/Car Parking

We are unable to confirm the availability of on-site parking in advance of your arrival.

Please note that any hotel we use and Footsteps School of Dancing/Mr or Mrs Price cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to any vehicle, whether located on or off-site.
Please also note that any Hotel we use and Footsteps School of Dancing/Mr or Mrs Price cannot accept responsibility for any lost or damaged items not left with a member of the management team for secure storage or stored in personal room safes if available. This also applies to equipment stored in public rooms.
